Every Step Explained

The complete process — step by step

We walk you through each of these 8 steps. You're never doing this alone.

01
Free Profile Assessment
Free · 30 min

Everything starts here. We review your academic background, work experience, English score, budget, and career goals. We tell you honestly — which universities you qualify for, what programs fit your profile, and what your scholarship chances are.

Academic evaluation (CGPA, percentage, backlogs)
Program matching across all 12 Irish universities
Realistic scholarship assessment
Timeline planning for your target intake
Tip: The more specific you are about your goals and budget, the more tailored our guidance. There are no wrong answers at this stage.
1–2 days to complete
02
University & Program Shortlisting
Week 1–2

Based on your profile, we create a personalised shortlist of 3–5 universities and programs — ranked by fit, scholarship potential, and career outcome. We explain the pros and cons of each option clearly, so you can decide with full information.

Personalised shortlist of 3–5 universities
Program comparison (fees, duration, rankings, outcomes)
Scholarship availability at each university
Application deadline calendar
We recommend applying to at least 3 universities simultaneously. It costs nothing extra and dramatically improves your chances of the best outcome.
1–2 weeks
03
Document Preparation
Week 2–4

We provide a complete personalised document checklist and guide you through preparing each document to the standard Irish universities expect. The Statement of Purpose is the most critical document — we work on this with you through multiple drafts.

Statement of Purpose (SOP) — written with you, reviewed multiple times
Academic transcripts — format and attestation guidance
Recommendation letters — who to ask and what to include
CV/resume — tailored for Irish university admissions
A strong SOP can compensate for average academic scores. We've seen students with 58% CGPA get into top-ranked Irish programs on the strength of their SOP and interview performance.
2–4 weeks
04
Application Submission
Week 4–6

We submit your applications to all shortlisted universities simultaneously. As registered agents, we have direct submission access and established relationships with admissions offices — this means faster processing and direct communication if anything is needed.

Applications submitted to 3–5 universities
Application fees handled and tracked
Confirmation of submission from each university
Follow-up with admissions teams as needed
Early applications (October–December for September intake) have significantly better scholarship access than late applications. Apply early.
1–2 weeks
05
Offer Letters & Scholarship Decisions
4–8 weeks after applying

Universities typically respond within 4–8 weeks. You may receive conditional offers (requiring final results or other documents) or unconditional offers. We negotiate scholarship amounts where possible and advise you on which offer represents the best overall value — not just the lowest fee.

Receive and review all offer letters
Scholarship amount confirmed by each university
Comparison of all offers on total cost, reputation, and outcomes
Recommendation on which offer to accept
Gold moment: This is where your investment in a strong SOP and early application pays off. Most of our scholarship wins happen at this stage.
4–8 weeks after submission
06
Acceptance & Fee Payment
After offers received

Once you've chosen your preferred university, you pay the acceptance deposit (typically €500–€3,000) and submit any remaining documents to satisfy the conditions of your offer. We guide you on the most cost-effective way to transfer funds internationally.

Acceptance fee payment guidance (best transfer methods)
Conditions satisfied (final transcripts, English score, etc.)
University enrollment confirmation received
CAS/Letter of Acceptance issued for visa application
Don't pay the acceptance fee until we've confirmed all conditions are satisfiable. We've protected students from costly mistakes at this stage.
1–2 weeks
07
Irish Student Visa Application
Critical step — apply 8–12 weeks before start

The Irish D-Visa (study visa) application is the most documentation-intensive part of the process. We prepare your entire visa file — financial documents, cover letter, health insurance, accommodation evidence — and review everything before submission. Our 98% visa success rate comes from meticulous preparation at this stage.

Complete visa document checklist and preparation
Financial statement guidance (what amount, which format)
Visa cover letter — written and reviewed by our team
Health insurance arrangement
Online visa application filed
Biometric appointment booked (where applicable)
Apply for your visa at least 8–10 weeks before your course start date. Never cut it close — delays happen and cannot be rushed.
Processing: 4–8 weeks

Pre-Departure & Arrival Support
Final stage

Most consultancies stop at the visa. We don't. Once you have your visa, we help you prepare for arrival in Ireland — accommodation guidance, what to pack, GNIB registration, Irish bank account setup, and an introduction to the Irish student community. We also share our post-study resources so you're thinking about your career from day one.

Accommodation search guidance (on-campus vs private)
Pre-departure checklist (documents, money, phone)
GNIB/IRP registration guide (mandatory within 90 days of arrival)
Irish bank account and SIM card setup
Introduction to our alumni network in Ireland
Join our pre-departure WhatsApp group for your intake batch — you'll connect with other GlobalGrad students travelling to the same city.
